Joshua Weisman is passionate about fishing. He started fishing in 7th grade but wishes he'd started earlier. His friends taught him about hooks, knots, lures, and more, and he became an avid fisherman. Today, he's caught hundreds of fish and hopes to catch hundreds more. He established a nonprofit organization called Red Tide Awareness, Inc.Milan Samadder has been an artist and illustrator since 2009. He is from Delhi, India. He has illustrated numerous children's books. He and Joshua had fun interacting on fishing, mangroves, birds, and red tide to create this book.
