"Pantea Kalhor is the author of Six best-selling books. Her mission is to create a bridge between Western and Eastern medicine to show how holistic medicine and mind-body connection can help conventional medicine find underlying health issues which are usually ignored or left undiscovered. After a car-hijacking accident when she was threatened at knifepoint, she started her journey of transformation and healing from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Years later, she wrote her first book, Rules of Change for The Better, describing her own personal stories of transition. Then she created ""Transition by Pantea Kalhor,"" a podcast with interviews with healthcare and holistic medicine practitioners, medical doctors, functional medicine practitioners, and PTSD coaches. They share the message of hope and introduce different modalities in Post Trauma recovery and healing from chronic disease. She is also a certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN) and fertility consultant. She helps couples who are struggling with fertility to have an optimistic result through functional labs and lifestyle change. If you wish to share your message, become a bestselling author, or promote your own brand, you can contact Pantea through her website: https: //acechoiceidea.com"

Reviews for Needs Gap: Simple Guide to Manage Autoimmune Disease and Chronic Pain- Including Fun Recipes

Editorial Review This book was a true pleasure to edit. Ms. Kalhor and her contributors, while acknowledging the utility of traditional Western medicine for treating certain conditions, gently brought light to some of the areas where Western medicine needs improvement, particularly with regard to chronic illnesses. Throughout the book, the author and her contributors offered solid, evidence-based alternative treatments for chronic conditions, ranging from thyroid-based disorders to Lyme disease and many others. They provided detailed explanations of their methods, from dietary changes and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition to acupuncture/acupressure and described how and why these methods work. Best of all, they gave preliminary ideas for readers to try which would not necessarily require going to new healthcare providers or undergoing additional laboratory work right away if the readers aren't in a position to do so. One contributor gave a basic starting point for acupressure that can be done at home, and all of them included healthy recipes that look absolutely delightful. I intend to try some of them myself, just to enjoy the new flavor combinations described! Elain Roughton Foreword I am proud to be a part of a wellness community of practitioners beginning to change this paradigm. We are teaching people they can and should become the CEO of their health. Teaching people to appreciate their body, mind and soul as it is the most precious gift we have. Unlike a pair of shoes, a car or house that we can trade it or just get a new one when it breaks down, we only have one beautiful body, mind and soul that needs to be nourish, cared for and treated like the precious gift it is. While we still have many Gaps in our current system, by putting out resources like this book, we are taking steps in making the gaps smaller and smaller for people so everyone can begin to live a life in elevated health as we move from sick care to truly healthcare.
