K. K. Perez has spent the last two decades living in Europe and Asia. She holds a PhD in medieval literature from the University of Cambridge and has taught at the National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong. She's written for The Wall Street Journal Asia, Conde Nast Traveler, and CNN. Her first nonfiction title, The Myth of Morgan la Fey, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2014. Her debut novel, Sweet Black Waves, was published in June 2018.
