Eliot Rahal (Hot Lunch Special, Bleed Them Dry, Madam Satan) is a New York Times-acclaimed writer best known for his work in comics and his collaborations with Last Podcast on the Left, Machine Gun Kelly, and Emily Hampshire. Comic artist from Rome, works with Disney, Pixar, Boom! Studios, Dark Horse, IDW, Image and others on titles such Star Wars, Star Trek, Mega Man and Black Hammer.
Rahal’s timely premise, concerning the potential of an unleashed mob of glued-to-their-phone types (and of heavy-handed law enforcement reaction), recalls various real-life hashtag-boosted movements, from Black Lives Matter and #MeToo to Occupy Wall Street. The nimble, stylized artwork by Italian comics specialist Simeone has echoes of Japanese manga. * Kirkus Reviews *
