DIETMAR SCHOMBURG, PhD, is a Full Professor and Head of the Department of Bioinformatics and Biochemistry at the Technische Universität Carolo-Wilhelmina in Braunschweig. His research interests include protein structure and function, structural biochemistry, bioinformatics, and enzyme information/metabolic networks.
