Quite possibly my favourite Garth Nix to date, my awe at this author’s ability to tell a story and manipulate words is renewed tenfold. Based in an alternate version of London in the year of 1983, this is a refreshing urban fantasy that perfectly navigates the line between young adult and adult fiction.
